A founding father of rock 'n' roll, who has influenced many

ALAN
MESSER VISITS GENESIS
Nashville-based
photographer, Alan Messer, has recently been in the UK to finish
the photo-edit of his forthcoming limited edition book on Johnny
Cash.
Published by Genesis Publications in collaboration with the
estate of Johnny Cash, the book will feature a mixture of iconic
portraits and previously unseen photographs of The Man in Black,
taken between 1977 and his death in 2003. Many of the images
are remarkably candid and feature Cash with his family and friends
who will also be contributing their thoughts and memories of
Cash and the photographs.
Sifting
through Alan's remarkable archive has been a pleasure, but choosing
which photographs to leave out has been almost painful at times.
However, whatˆs not in doubt is that the final picture edit
is a collection of quite incredible photographs.
The book, in typical Genesis style, will be printed on fine
art papers and hand-bound in leather.
Strictly limited to 2,000 copies only, it is due to be published
later this year.
