The house at 200 Caudill Drive was last owned by John R Cash. He bought it in 1968 (from Braxton Dixon) and made it his own. He lived there with his wife, June and they raised a family.
The house was their home where they entertained many guests during their careers and private lives and many historic songs were conceived on the property.
John and June Cash are gone, their worldly goods and chattels either sold at auction or passed on to family or friends. Their art and music is immortalised.
My memories of John and June are in my photographs and are tattooed in my heart and live amongst the stories told. I liked that house whilst they were there.
There has been much written, photographed and filmed in that house on the lake. Lives and art have been lived there.

Rosanne Cash wrote,
"There's nothing left to take
But love and years are not for sale
In our old house on the lake."

The Johnny Cash museum is his catalogue of songs and recordings, not in sticks and stones.
