Mike Henderson made his name in Nashville fronting his blues band The KingSnakes who were a mainstay attraction at the Bluebird Cafe. Mike was a very shy man with a pronounced stutter, however, he would leap onto tabletops wailing his vintage slide guitar to the delight of the always overpacked crowd.

I have photographed and designed several of Mike’s albums. His current band the Bluebloods became BlueBird regulars on a monday night. Mark Knopfler is a fan and has been seen sitting in a few times
