David Carson d esign / Beach Culture magazine
This photograph of Lyle Lovett's feet was shot purposefully by me using an SX70 polaroid,
as I was making a collage, somewhat influenced by David Hockney.

At the time (1990) I was designing and screenprinting the American Original series for CBS Nashville at my Broadway studio
working with film overlays, Swan Morton scalpels, rulers, inks, acetone paint thinners, e tc.,

David Carson asked me to photograph Lyle Lovett for Musician Magazine, a classic magazine. Carson reused one of my favourite pictures
of Lyle's feet in the avant garde and highly aclaimed Beach Culture magazine.
