REMEMBERING WAYLON JENNINGS
born this day, June 15 1937 in Littlefield, Texas.
This is a picture of WAYLON + WILLIE at Chips Moman’s Studio, Nashville, 1985.
They were recording “Train To Texas” as per the sheet music, or it may have been “Put Me On a Train Back to Texas”.
Chips, who died June 13th 2016, closed this studio and moved back to Memphis soon after.

Waylon had just bought a new Cadillac and was telling the story of the sale with cash, which he said he always wanted to do. I Got pictures too.
Waylon once told me at Chips studio: “You need to learn to speak proper, Hoss!

Waylon died February 13 2002, he was 64. He was a unique, wonderful man and an American legend.
